Sweat Testing

WHAT IS IT?

An exercise test which involves training at race-pace for 30-60 minutes with sweat patches placed on your forehead and both forearms.

WHY DO I NEED IT?

We collect the sweat patches and send them off for analysis. From this information, we can determine your sweat rate (fluid loss per hour) and the sodium concentration of that sweat (how much sodium you're losing). From these two key metrics, this information can be used to develop a race-day hydration plan to ensure you avoid cramping and dehydration.

WHAT YOU GET:

A summary report outlining your sweat rate, sodium loss, and basic hydration recommendations.
